TICCS (The Injury Care Clinics) became established as a totally independent provider of assessment, treatment, case management and rehabilitation services following the realisation within personal injury claims that early intervention and assessment of an individual’s needs was likely to result in the best opportunity for recovery and return to best available quality of life. In most instances this also results in a reduction in associated social and financial costs.
It is a view held by many that accident victims, the injured and the sick often need an independent champion outside of the National Health or Social Services, to help them optimise physical, psychological, workplace or social recovery. Alongside prompt treatment, such case management promotes the healing process in every sense, and reduces long-term costs.
It is often overlooked that case management extends beyond the medical scenario. The patients quality of life can be immediately improved by recognising the need for some basic home adaptations and/or the provision of aids, equipment or domestic support.
Working with a comprehensive panel of Physiotherapists,
Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Psychologists and employed Case Managers
situated around the country, TICCS is able to provide a comprehensive
rehabilitation service assessing and managing the needs of the patient,
whilst providing prompt treatment when appropriate.
TICCS Supports and adheres to the
“BICMA Quality Standards for Rehabilitation Providers”
Thereby committing to independent and professional services designed to support the injured party.
